About Singalila
Singalila National Park is one of the most exotic Himalayan forests located in the Darjeeling District in the West Bengal, Sikkim, and Nepal tri-junction. It is a mystical forest located on the Singalila range at an altitude ranging between 7,000 ft to 12,000 ft above sea level. It is well known for the trekking route to Sandakphu that runs through it and is also famously known for its ageless vintage Land Rovers.

Singalila is one of the best places in India to see the Red Panda in the wild. Apart from the Red Panda, Singalila is home to a diversity of mammals, including the Himalayan Black Bear, Clouded Leopard, Leopard Cat, Serow, Barking Deer, Yellow-Throated Marten, Wild Boar, Pangolin, and Pika, among others. Singalila is a birding paradise, with more than 300 species of birds found here. It has a huge list of exotic birds like Blood Pheasant, Satyr Tragopan, Kalij Pheasant, Brown Parrotbills, Rufous-Vented Tit, Fire-Tailed Myzornis, Golden-Breasted Fulvetta, Rosefinches, Bullfinches, Wren Babblers, Laughing Thrushes, Nuthatches, Treecreepers, Yuhinas, Minivets, and Partridges.

About Red Panda
The Red Panda (Ailurus fulgens), also known as the ‘firefox,’ is a mammal native to the Eastern Himalayas and Southwest China. It has reddish-brown fur, a long shaggy tail, and a waddling gait due to its shorter front legs. Measuring no more than 2 feet in length and weighing not more than 10 kg, the Red Panda is a truly adorable and photogenic animal. It is arboreal, feeds mainly on bamboo, but also eats eggs, birds, and insects. It is a solitary animal, mainly active from dusk to dawn, and is largely sedentary during the day.

The Red Panda has been classified as Endangered by the IUCN because its wild population is estimated at fewer than 10,000 mature individuals, and it continues to decline due to habitat loss, fragmentation, poaching, and inbreeding. Although Red Pandas are protected by national laws in their range countries, Singalila is one of its last strongholds and is also the best place in India to see this elusive and rare mammal.

Day 7: – Singalila to Siliguri

Post early breakfast at your homestay in Manebhanjen, proceed for a half-day birding and wildlife viewing.

Hot lunch to be served at the homestay. After an unforgettable adventure spotting the elusive Red Pandas, it's time to bid adieu to Manebhanjan and head to Siliguri post lunch.

Arrival in Siliguri by the evening and check-in to the Courtyard by Marriott, Siliguri.

Day 8: – Siliguri to Kaziranga

After a hot breakfast at your hotel, an airport transfer will be arranged to Siliguri Airport. You will take a flight from Siliguri to Guwahati, where a vehicle will be waiting upon your arrival.

From Guwahati, drive 5 hours on a picturesque road to Kaziranga National Park and check into Infinity Resort, Kaziranga. Evening at leisure.

Kaziranga National Park
In the heart of Assam, Kaziranga National Park is one of the last areas in eastern India undisturbed by human presence. One of the most sought-after wildlife holiday destinations in India, Kaziranga National Park’s 430-square-kilometer area, sprinkled with elephant-grass meadows, swampy lagoons, and dense forests, is home to more than 2,600 Indian one-horned rhinoceroses, approximately two-thirds of their total world population.

Apart from rhinos, it is home to many mammal species, including tigers, elephants, Asiatic wild buffalo, leopards, bears, swamp deer, hog deer, hoolock gibbons, smooth-coated otters, and a high diversity of birds. Because of its high biodiversity, Kaziranga is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was also declared a Tiger Reserve in 2006. Kaziranga is recognized as an Important Bird Area by BirdLife International for the conservation of avifaunal species. With so many facets, Kaziranga is a must-visit for any wildlife enthusiast.

Day 9-11: – Morning and Evening safaris

Today, post breakfast, you will be doing 6 game drives over 3 days. Guests will go out and explore the park in 4X4 jeeps.

Kaziranga is a haven for large mammals. The one-horned rhino is the star attraction. Asiatic elephants roam in big herds, and Asiatic wild buffaloes find this landscape as one of their last refuges. Tigers are plenty in Kaziranga, but because of the tall elephant grasses, they are not always easy to spot.

Eastern swamp deer, spotted deer, sambar deer, and hog deer are some of the prey species found here. Smooth-coated otters are sometimes seen in the swamps and water bodies, and a plethora of birdlife can be spotted on drives. If lucky, the elusive fishing cat could be a prize catch.

Guests finish their drive and return to the lodge by 10:30 AM. Post lunch, another game drive will be arranged with similar chances of sightings. Based on guest suitability, Sagar will take a session on photography either during the day or just before dinner.

Dinner and overnight at Infinity Kaziranga.

Day 12: – Kaziranga to Sundarbans

After morning breakfast, you will be departing to Guwahati, a 5-hour drive from Kaziranga, for your onward journey to board a flight to Kolkata.

Upon your arrival at Kolkata Airport, a vehicle will take you towards the Godkhali Jetty approach to Sundarbans. You will drive for a couple of hours through a scenic landscape to reach the jetty.

At the jetty, board the boat and continue onwards to Sundarban Tiger Camp. Arrival and evening at leisure.

A short introductory and briefing session will be conducted by the naturalist, covering the forest, flora and fauna, and the special habitat of the swamp tigers. Guests can also enjoy birdwatching and photography on the way to the resort.

Day 13-14: – Sundarbans

Sunrise to Sunset Boat Safari
Early morning departure from Waxpol Ghat (timing will be notified a day before by the Group Leader, approx. 5:30 AM – 6:00 AM).

Breakfast and lunch will be served hot and fresh on the boat itself during the safari. As the main species for this trip is the Swamp Tiger, we will search for pug marks on mud banks, and depending on our findings and information from our well-equipped tracking team, we will set the cruise route for the day.

It is important to note that this route may or may not change daily, as we will be focusing on recent tiger movements and possible movement paths. Apart from tracking the big cat, we will also be on the lookout for other birds and mammals.

Throughout the day, we will cruise through several creeks, rivers, and rivulets. After the safari, guests will return to the resort for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 15: – Departure

Early morning departure from Waxpol Ghat after checkout.

Depart from Sundarbans to Kolkata Airport, and then proceed to Delhi for an international flight.
